Prologue

To be happy, a person needs to know themselves and the surrounding world, to create and to help others. A person's life is full of trials, victories, and defeats, which they must go through to become happy. These thoughts are reflected in a multitude of texts and stories from ancient times to the present.

One such story is the Odyssey, which describes a person's search for the meaning of life through trials and sufferings, the importance of perseverance, and the ability to overcome obstacles on the way to a higher goal.

And it doesn't matter which Odyssey we are talking about: whether it's Homer's "Odyssey," Rafael Sabatini's "Odyssey of Captain Blood," or other Odysseys - the heroes of the stories are different embodiments of a Person, striving for justice and overcoming obstacles on their way home, symbolizing the path to happiness, harmony, and peace.

Each of us is an embodiment of such a Person; each of us is an Odysseus.
